We are currently recruiting an Installations Technician - Trainee. This is a new position within our installations team and the trainee program will provide a structured, practical, hands-on approach to new skills from some of the best in the industry! This role is based in Derby, DE24 so candidates would need to be able to commute.
Some examples of our Learning and Development pathway for the Installation
Technician - Trainee would be:
- Meeting members of the various teams, to understand the business
- Training on the various apps used to send paperwork & expenses
- All aspects of installations work and manual handling training
- AA or equivalent driver assessment (potential after initial 6 months)
- Weekly feedback with Senior Team Leader to identify strengths and weaknesses
- Learn the various films calendared, i.e. cast cylinder cast, etc.
- Multi-brand vinyl training
After 1 year you will be able to fully understand visuals, be able to set out and apply the side of vans or trailers on your own, and you will be compliant with all paperwork.
Desirable skills:
- Organised and structured in approach
- Own car and Clean drivers licence
- Willingness to travel with regular overnight stays
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Enthusiastic approach to customer service
- Team player
- Self-motivated
- Proactive learner
- Good attention to detail
